Fur, Scales, Feathers, All Welcome!
Pet care experience
7 year veterinary nursing experience. Currently ER Veterinary Medicine, overnights. I have Cats and Dogs of my own, and have worked with many exotics over the last 7 years professionally. I have been taking care of animals my whole life but began at Blue Bird Gap Farm and Pit Road Rescue. Spicy cats are my favorite cats, because there is no such thing as a bad cat, just extra spicy ones. I am very confident and comfortable getting to know fear aggressive animals. I have a bit of a complex of getting aggressive, terrified, and overwhelmed animals comfortable and calm in my presence. I understand and heavily rely on energy communication between animals and humans, making working with special needs (medical and behavioral) cases very important to me.
Reviews
I honestly could not think of a better person to take care of your fur (feather, scale or shell lol) babies than Krys… I’ve known her since middle school basically and she has always been the first person I think to go to when I need help with my biological buddies. She has years of credible veterinary experience and is just a genuinely good and trustworthy person. If you’re considering Krys as a caregiver for your pets, I hope this recommendation helps you make that decision because she is truly amazing and 10/10 toe beans recommend.
Ive known Krys for 10+ years now and everyday of those years all she loved and cared for were animals it doesn’t matter if they were her own, someone else’s, or a stray she continuously provided love and care to all of them no matter the breed or size. I’ve seen her but her body on the line to ensure the safety and the well being of her clients. Krys is a adaptable rocket ship only designed to keep going up and beyond.

I am available for walks, potty breaks, overnight care, puppy care, senior care, litter box cleaning, medicating, socialization, crate and rotate situations, feedings, aggressive animal care, grooming: nail trims, and bath (these are not standard to all sitters. May require restraint by owner. Will only be completed if pet is comfortable, compliant, and there are no signs of fear or aggression. Must be requested at least one day before date of bath or nail trim. ) I will require a note of permission to seek emergency medical treatment and proof of financial responsibility for veterinary services for all pets in my care. I will request a life support status for all animals in my care in case they were to experience a medical emergency, resulting in death while under my care.
