Keeping your fur babies safe!

Pet care experience

I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was about 7. My two puppies growing up were two incredibly intelligent and high energy black labs, and so I have a massive soft spot for large/medium dogs of similar natures. Over the years, I’ve kept a number of smaller dogs while their owners are away. I now usually house sit for those with elderly pups, and one household with a young poodle who I frequently drop off or pick up from the groomer. I also have experience with puppies and certain specific breeds. I love to take pups on walks and car rides and love pups who enjoy a good snuggle.

Safety, trust & environment

I aim to keep your puppy’s routine as normal as they’re used to when you’re around, so whatever the norm is for you in the house, will be for me. I like to stay home with the pups as much as possible to keep them company especially while they’re missing you, although I do like to take them in the car if they enjoy car rides as well. Just inform me of their routine and I’ll follow it.

Information Kim S. would like to know about your pet

Let me know if your dog has any special needs and provide a full outline of their routine ahead of time. I also will need to know how well the dog behaves in public environments (with other dogs, kids, etc.). Do they have any quirks I need to be aware of (bolting for the door, chewing cords, scratching, scared of loud noises or specific objects, yanking their leash, etc.)? Do they have any allergies? And if they have medication to take, please leave instructions with how you typically administer said medication.

A typical day

The day will start off pretty slow for me and the pups. I’ll feed them their breakfast and let them out to potty first thing. I like to take them outdoors everyday, whether for a walk, a ride in the car, or just play time. If I’m not working a shift, I’ll be home most of the day, spending time with and snuggling with the pups. I like to stay pretty active so there’s the possibility of taking the pups for a run with me as well.

Availability

I’m currently working part-time, so I’m generally very open to play with your pups! My schedule varies weekly, but I’m typically available weekdays with an occasional shift in the afternoon or evening. If I’m watching puppies or pups with separation anxiety, being able to bring them in the car is a plus. If house sitting is required, I’m equally available during the week and on weekends.
