Pet care experience
I am a graduate student living in the Morningside Heights area of the Upper West Side. I live just a few blocks from 3 parks and about a 5 minute walk to the nearest dog park. I grew up with dogs but have not yet gotten a puppy of my own. I love sharing my home with friendly dogs who have to be away from their parents for a few days whenever I can. I am trustworthy and responsible, and you can rest assured that your puppy will be comfortable and well-cared for during his or her stay. Why I love dog sitting My family and I are animals lovers, with extreme partiality to dogs. I always had a family dog growing up, sometimes two. We had huskies named Sisu & Yuri, a yellow lab Ben, a dalmation Nikki, and currently my parents have a goofy chocolate lab Magua. And although I've only had big dogs, I also have a love for smaller varieties! About my yard No backyard. My experience administering medication Yes. My dogs always took a daily glucosamie tablet that we would give them orally. I have also dog sat for a diabetic dog, giving him twice daily insulin shots

Kim is amazing! I felt so at ease the whole weekend leaving my baby in her hands. She knew what she was doing and was very understanding and super helpful!!
Kim was great! She was very attentive to Goro's needs and sent me updates and pictures during her stay. Goro seemed to get along great with her (she was crying in the car as we pulled away). Will definitely have Goro stay with Kim next time I need to go away!
Kim is a true animal lover! She has taken such great care of both Buzz Lightyear and Otis - a charismatic yellow lab duo! Kim follows up quickly while we are away from our pets and sends some pretty hilarious pictures documenting the fun taking place at home while we are away traveling. She is very detail-oriented and able to understand complex instructions for special diets etc. I trust her with my furry family members more than anyone else. I would highly recommend Kim as a dog caregiver - your pets will have a blast!

I would want to know what the dog's normal routine looks like, in terms of wake-up, feeding, exercise, etc, so we could make sure the pup's stay would be as seamless as possible. We welcome all dogs!
A typical day
Here's where we'll take our walks We live a 2 minute walk from Rittenhouse Square, Fitler Square and a 5 minute walk to the local dog park! There are lots of quiet local streets that are great for walking the typical city pup! Your dog's sleeping arrangement If your dog normally sleeps in bed with you, then I'm more than happy to oblige your pup's normal sleeping habits! Otherwise there is space for a doggie bed in either my room, my roommate's room, or the living room. Whatever makes your dog the most comfortable~ Time I'll spend with your dog On the weekends, almost the entire day! During the week, your dog would only be alone for a few hours. My roommate and I have different work schedules, so there is only a few handful of hours out of the day when neither of us are home.
