Doodles only! Good Dog Discounts!!
Pet care experience
Doodles only!! The Good Dog Discount applies for well-behaved, well-trained dogs who don't wake us up in the middle of the night, don't have indoor accidents, and don't bark when nobody is at the front door. Discount is at least $25 off posted rates. We can do a one night stay and then discuss. *************** IMPORTANT ***************** Due to an allergy and child fear, we only accept poodle mixes. (Lookalikes are okay - poodles, doodles, maltese, wheatens, westies, etc. ) We require a doggie daycare visit before any overnights (send a message if for some reason this can't work for you - with a phone call and reference we can possibly skip this). *************************************************** I've had a dog for most of the time since 2008 when I found the best rescue puppy ever. I trained her to do all sorts of handy things, like to ring a bell to go outside and to go in a crate when she heard the UPS truck (ok, fine, she did that on her own, but I did teach her to go into a crate when the doorbell rang). Only 7 awesome years later, she was diagnosed with cancer - so then we had a year of experience dealing with a tripawd dog and lots of medication. I'm a pro at giving medicine on time. (I've never given an injection but if you want to teach me, I'm willing to do it.) After she died, we adopted a senior cockapoo. She was cute and cuddly and followed me everywhere until her last day.
Reviews
Kendra (and family) were exceptional! Our puppy (medium golden doodle) had the best time staying with them and we felt at ease the entire time. Kendra was responsive to messages and took very cute photos during our pups stay. The family was also great as it was clear they wanted to maintain our dogs structure as well as his training; asking us what commands we use and how, and when our puppy was jumpy they worked to politely correct it instead of reinforcing it and letting it happen as most people do. Will definitely be rebooking if we need a place for him to stay again.
I highly recommend Kendra for Doggie Daycare. I have a rescue dog who is a bit anxious, recently diagnosed with cancer and doesn't like to leave my side. I was somewhat nervous about leaving him with anyone other than my friend. I found Kendra on Rover and was happy with her great reviews, quick responses and the kindness and care taken to make sure my fur baby enjoyed his first doggie daycare experience. During both drop-off & pick-up Kendra and her family showed how much they enjoy hosting furry guests and I felt they treated my dog as they would have their own. After our great experience with doggie daycare I am eager to have my boy stay overnight with Kendra. I'm confident he will have a great time?
This is the second time our furrball has stayed with Kendra and her family. When we met for the initial meet and greet and Kendra was taking notes I could tell right away that Mitzy would be well taken care of and loved while we were out of town. I am so grateful to have found a family that loves our dog as if it were their own. Kendra goes above and beyond and we are very happy with her service.
Such a warm wonderful and thoughtful family

We miss having a dog but we're just not up for that super long term commitment right now. So instead, we'd like to take care of your dog! Our household is 2 adults and 2 kids (age 10 and 11). So there are plenty of people to take care of and play with your dog.

Information Kendra N. would like to know about your pet
************************************************************ We require a meet and greet before confirming boarding or daycare!!!! ************************************************************ We need to know: What is your dog's typical schedule for sleep, food, exercise, and potty? Where does your dog like to sleep? How far does your dog usually walk each day? What kind of trouble does your dog get into when bored or stressed? (Do we need to hide the toilet paper?) What's the best and worst thing about your dog? How is your dog around kids?
A typical day
Your dog will get human love starting at 7am and after a quick potty break and breakfast, we'll go for a walk to Land Park to look at squirrels. Unless that's too exciting! Then we'll just walk around the neighborhood or maybe we'll check out the secret fairy woods. We can even play fetch inside or out back if you've got a super energetic pup. After our morning walk we'll settle in and get some work done around the house for a couple hours and then go for another walk! Then we'll have lunch and maybe a nap. Then more outdoor fun before dinner.

Availability
Someone is home 24/7. We go on frequent walks throughout the day. We can tailor our walks to your dog's needs. Your dog will be inside with an adult human or on a walk. If your dog isn't a high jumper, then we might play off-leash in the backyard.
