Hello West Virginia! I just moved here from Maryland and am very excited to be accepting new clients in the area! ☺🐾 Hello! Thank you so much for considering me to take care of your pet while you're away! My goal is to surround them with love and comfort so that your time away is spent worry-free. I have worked with many types of animals hands on for 9 years at different rescue organizations in the Frederick Co (Maryland) area such as FCAC, the Humane Society, and the Animal Welfare League, as well as fostering and rehoming. I am experienced in caring for animals of all kinds (rabbits, birds, rodents, reptiles, insects, you name it!). I currently offer Walking, Check-in, and House Sitting services for all animals, all sizes and all breeds! However PLEASE BE AWARE: My 1 year old daughter must frequently accompany to my drop ins and walks so I can no longer take aggressive/anxious animals, as I previously have specialized in for her safety. For drop ins I have her in a baby carrier and for walks in a stroller. However, often she is home with her father. I have a "Leave no trace" rule in my clients homes, I have previously worked as a cleaning lady and you will not even be able to tell I or my baby was there apart from our photo updates! Meet & Greets are required to ensure a perfect fit for your animal. This means I come to your home free of charge to meet you and your pet, and asses their behavior and personality. This is also where I go over the animals personal care plan with you and answer any additional questions you may have for me about my services and experience.

Kelsey took great care of our 2 cats and bearded dragon while we were away for a week. She provided pictures and kept us updated on their well being. She even got our not so friendly cat to enjoy her company! Would love to have her pet sit for us again!
Kelsey was fantastic to have care for our cat while we were on vacation. She kept us informed of her visits and his well being and we were happy he was so well cared for in our absence.
This is our 2nd time we had Kelsey take care of our pets . She has done overnight stays and this time we needed her to do daily drop in’s on our 2 cats. She always does a wonderful job . We had some ant issues recently around our cats food. She too the time to send me photos and then change locations of the food as well as getting rid of the pests until we returned. I highly recommend Kelsey for any of your pets needs. She is professional and will keep you up to date on how your pets are doing while you are gone. She is trustworthy and reliable. We will use her again!
Kelsey was great with Mikey, she always sent me follow ups and pictures...I would definitely recommend her for your pet sitter.

A typical day
My goal is to make your animals feel as comfortable as possible while you're away, individual care instructions will be followed closely. I like to give animals LOTS of exercise / 1 on 1 playtime for mental stimulation, I find doggies are less anxious about their owners being away if they are tired. I help train your pet, with basic commands and correction of misbehavior like biting, chewing, and inappropriate elimination. IF you are in need of any services/dates/times that are not listed on my profile, please still shoot me a message and let me know! I pride myself on doing everything I can to help accommodate my clients and help their animals.

Availability
I am a stay at home mother apart from when I am pet sitting, we also just moved to the area so I have a lot of schedule availability as I aqcuire new clients here. However for house sitting I cannot provide 24/7 care, I must leave for a few hours once in the morning and once in the evening to tend to my family and dogs at home. Overnights accepted, I only house sit for 1 family at a time. Up to 3 walks/ drop ins per day if i am not scheduled to house sit.
