I have loved caring for dogs since I was young. I grew up with a bichon frise named Gypsy and a maltese mix named Cooper who I love dearly. I have always enjoyed caring for dogs that others' as well as my own. Last summer, I watched & walked dogs full-time, and I have also watched neighbors' and friends' dogs while they were away throughout middle and high school, and have experience with all kinds of animals, from senior dogs to 8 month old puppies, from pitt bulls to maltese. I grew up in Raleigh and now I live in Greenville, NC. I would love to walk, play with, and take care of your dog! I have a flexible schedule and am willing and able to drive just about anywhere. I will walk your dog, sleep with your dog, play with your dog, or just hang out with your dog-- whatever your pooch needs. I own a cat who is a little skittish towards dogs, but I would like for him to experience being around cat-friendly dogs so that he knows not all dogs are out to get him! Therefore your dog must be cat-friendly.

Kelly did a great job taking care of my 10 year old husky while I was on vacation.
Kelly took great care of our dogs and sent us pictures of them. Her brother Rob also filled in a few times. We were very pleased with them and the dogs liked them both. I would definitely recommend Kelly for sitting and would use her again!
Kelly is such a great dogsitter! It was the first time I have left my 2 dogs at home by themselves and Kelly made such a difference! She kept me updated about the dogs throughout the day and sent several pictures! I could tell they were so happy to have her to play with and to take them for walks! They were so well when I came back and for that reason I highly recommend her services!
Kelly took excellent care of our dog Layla! She kept us informed of their weekend while we were gone. We will certainly use her again for future needs and would highly recommend her.

I generally like to know about a dog's temperament, as that helps me know what sorts of activities we can do, places I can take them, and how to interact with them. If the owner is okay with it, I would love to know how the dog responds to being outdoors in areas where humans and other dogs take walks. I also like to know your dog's specific commands, so that I can interact with them as effectively as possible. If coming to stay with me, dog MUST be socialized to cats. I love all breeds, sizes, and ages of pups, and I look forward to getting to know yours!
A typical day
I love taking walks at Nature Parks, along various greenways and paths, and hanging out outside. I would love to play with your pup and go for runs and walks all over in pretty spots. If your pup loves water, I'm happy to take them swimming or for walks in a cool creek. If your dog enjoys going to the dog park, I would love to take them to play with other pups! My love of dogs extends past the outdoors-- if you arrange a house stay, I will sleep with your pup (if you want), play with them, and give them all my love.
