Pet care experience
I have had pets, especially dogs, all of my life. I have rescued & cared for dogs & cats for the last 30 years & ended up keeping several of them. I have been pet sitting for the last 7 years. I have quite a few exceptional references. I absolutely love animals!!! I am a self-employed hairstylist as well so I have a flexible schedule to pet sit & dog walk. I am willing to keep pets @ my house provided that the dog or dogs get along with my dogs are house trained (unless it's a small puppy then I will help train) are not destructive & have been treated for fleas & ticks. I have a doggy door & a large yard. I am willing to to keep a dog or dogs @ my house if the owner is going to be away for more than a few days. I am very aware that dogs need a lot of attention & have human like needs. I treat them like I would want to be treated if I were a dog, "Like Family".

What I appreciate most about Kelly is not just her obvious love for animals but her professional approach. She takes care of our dogs just like they are her own dogs; loving on them and grooming them as needed. She also keeps us informed about how the are doing while we are gone. Pet sitting is not just a job to Kelly – it’s what she loves and it’s what she does for her livelihood. She is extremely good at it.
Kelly has taken care of two of my dogs over the past three years. She is a caring person with all pets, especially dogs . I had a senior dog who passed last year, Kelly would take care of her when on vacation and would come over to the house just to see her. I have a new rescue dog, Kelley takes her for walks and spends time with her with her dog for a play day... I highly recommend Kelly. Bob Goss

I love all dogs!!! I prefer to pet sit trained dogs. They cannot be destructive if they stay @ my house, treated for fleas & ticks & must be potty trained unless like I said before, it is a small puppy.
A typical day
I live near a bayou which is great place to walk dogs. My dog loves to play with other dogs so he keeps them well entertained. I have lots of dog toys in a toy box & lots of dogs beds. My home is a great place for dogs!!! I have a doggy door in my home that has access to my large fenced backyard with 2 large shade trees!!! Therefore your dog can take potty breaks as needed.
