Pet care experience
I have helped take care of pups at my mom’s clinic since I was in 5th grade. I adore and love all pets as if they are my own! I am currently in grad school, so I am available all day on Mondays and Fridays. I am also available anytime before 3pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays and can make stops after class on my way home. I am willing to make times work on weekends based on each individual inquiry. I have experience with all sizes and most breeds. in the past, I have helped with boarding, batheing, walking, and over-night stays. During my high school years, I trained and showed my own family dogs in dog shows. I am willing to pick-up your dog(s) and do drop-offs when you need the help. I am will to take them to a local dog park as well if they enjoy socializing with other pets and that’s how you prefer them to get their exercise in! Please feel free to ask me any other questions I may have left out!

Kearsten is my go to person when it comes to watching my dog. She is very gentle, caring, patient, and responsible with my dog. I have an Aussiedoodle and she tends to get scared easily around new people, but the moment she met Kearsten there was no hesitation, only acceptance. I honestly can’t think of anyone better to care for dogs.
Keasten has been a pet lover since early youth. In junior high, she trained the two family dogs with her local 4-H group. She spent her summers helping at a groomer: giving baths, cleaning cages, taking pets out to potty, and taking pets in. She was was very responsible, never called off and cleaned the grooming area without being asked. I was the kennel manager and she helped/volunteered for six years: taking pets in, cleaning cages, walking them, washing bedding, KEEPING TRACK OF SPECIAL FEEDING NEEDS, trim nails, had exposure to different ages and behaviors.
It's only been a little over 2 years since I've had Haru (Akita), and he still gets skiddish around new people. Those who are familiar with the Akita breed know that they can be very protective of their family and not too keen on strangers. That is why it is understandable why I was weary when I was searching for someone the first time I needed someone to watch him. I stumbled upon Kearsten with a stroke of luck, and thought I would giver her a try. Words cannot describe the feeling when you leave your pup with a stranger for the first time, especially one who as previously stated, doesn't take well to strangers, and has separation issues. However, much to my delight when I went to pick up Haru, he was ecstatic! He had seemingly clicked perfectly with Kearsten and gets excited now whenever I mention her name, as I have taken him back there several times since. I highly recommend her if you would like a peace-of-mind when you drop your dogs off to be watched. 5/5 stars.
Kearsten has taken care of my 3 dogs. Our 13 year old golden retriever needed a bit of special attention as he did not move fast and he could not walk on a slippery surface. She took very good care of him (he recently passed). I always knew as did he that she cared about him and I never worried when he was in her care. The other 2 dogs are younger and much more playful. She tends to their needs very well and I always know they have had a good day when she is with them. It is a good feeling when you need to leave "your kids" with someone else and you know they are having a great day. I feel that she knows how to take care of any dog after seeing how she cared for my very different boys.
