Hi! My name is Katie! I am a Pre-veterinary student who recently graduated from Purdue University, but I now call Petoskey home. I have multiple years of professional pet care and dog walking experience from working at a local boarding kennel, being a Rover.com sitter, as well as experience as a Veterinary Assistant at multiple clinics. I have been caring for all sorts of animals for the past 10 years in both professional and recreational roles. From cats and dogs to sheep, horses, and pigs, I've been able to work with them all throughout my undergraduate career. Caring for animals is my passion and I look forward to getting to know your furry family members!

We started looking for a sitter for our 7 month old puppy, Atlas, and came upon Katie. This is our first time using Rover and Katie was amazing!! Atlas loved his time with Katie. She asked questions about his feedings, schedule, and his personality at the meet and greet. She sent pictures and text updates while we were gone. She made all of us feel safe and happy about the choice to hire her as his sitter. We will definitely have Katie sit for Atlas again!
Katie was fantastic. Not only did she take care of a rambunctious 75lb pit mix with a smile and with care, she also took care of our 3 cats and kept our large garden watered daily. She updated me and sent plenty of cute pictures too. The house was just as clean as how we left it. This is the person you want house sitting.
Katie is an amazing sitter, and always takes such good care of my pup. This is my second time using her, and she goes above and beyond the extra mile to keep you up to date and take care of your pup. I would highly recommend using Katie.

I am very happy to work with any dog or cat breed big or small, and I especially love Golden Retrievers!
A typical day
Dogs and cats booked with me will enjoy plenty of play-time and attention, as well as walks if preferred, and a calm environment! I am also happy to provide basic grooming and/or a bath as well! I love to spend time getting to know the unique personality of each animal and catering an experience that will be enjoyable to them specifically, whether that be walks, playtime, cuddles and pets, or all of the above!

I work in the ski and golf industry up north and am currently in between seasons. This means that my time and attention will be fully devoted to helping care for your pets! I accept day-of bookings and can be flexible with scheduling. Just let me know how I can help!
