Moving to Austin 12 years ago and traveling to visit family, I have discovered boarding is very expensive and not the comforting atmosphere of home. I've decided through using Rover I would like to give that service to others, so they can travel comfortably knowing their pup is taken care of. Rover also seemed like a great fit to keep my dog company, and socialize her as she’s growing. I know how nerve-wracking it is to leave your little one behind. I work from home and would be around your pup 247. We also take 1-2 walks a day. I'll keep you updated on how your dog is doing, and send pictures of them throughout their stay. My dog, Iris, has all her current shots, and is on flea and heartworm prevention monthly. I don't have any children. I am responsive and caring, and I am happy to take care of your little loved one while you’re gone. **All dogs must be current on: vaccinations, heartworm medicine, flea and tick medicine, and (preferably) bordatella shots. Please confirm with me that your dog is up-to-date on all of his or her healthcare needs. You do not need to bring copies of the records- it's just helpful to hear that everything is up-to-date.** If you are trying to train your dog to learn a certain word or command, just let me know and we can work on it with him or her during the stay. As well as any medication or specific foods needed, I can accommodate and administer during their stay.
