I grew up on a farm in the west coast of Ireland therefore I have always had a passion for caring for animals. This is why I became a veterinary tech/nurse. I can answer veterinary questions where necessary and can make recommendations based on my knowledge.

Katie was amazing with Harley! As a rescue he is extremely wary of people he doesn’t know but he took to her calm friendly reassuring nature almost immediately. He was happy for her to feed him and to put his leash on and take him out of our apartment on the first booked walk. It usually takes him quite a while to trust someone enough to do this. She kept in regular contact with me throughout the day and night when she looked after him and during their walks. She also sent me pictures showing how happy he was which put my mind at ease and allowed me to relax and enjoy my short trip. I highly recommend that you contact Katie if you are looking for someone you can trust to look after your pets. You won’t be disappointed!

I unfortunately cannot take animals in my apartment however depending on the situation I can do regular visits to clients homes to play, exercise and give toilet breaks to their pets.

A typical day
I love to play catch with my dog friends, I love exploring new areas with them and allowing them to get their noses stuck in new smells and experiences. I live close to Stanley park so there are plenty of trails and greenways for us to play on.

I am currently working shift work in a veterinary hospital here in Vancouver. This means I have a lot of spare time and would love to create a regular routine of dog walking or sitting.
