As a college student away from my own dogs for most of the year, I can't think of a better way to fill the void than taking care of someone else's precious pooches. I am currently in the process of getting a degree in psychology and sociology where I hope to become a counselor and train PSDs (psychiatric service dogs). I find that dogs have a lot to offer especially when they are treated right. In the past few years I have pet sit for both dogs and cats and while I love both kinds of animals, I find dogs to be more of my animal of choice. I have taken care of my neighbors dogs as well as my own since a very young age which has given me a lot of experience working with young and old dogs. Also, because one of my own dogs needs medicine for a few different conditions, I am well versed in the different ways to administer it. It changes her least favorite time of the day to one where she gets excited for the peanut butter covered treat. It would be the highlight of my day to make your dog's day.
