Pet care experience
I’ve had dogs my entire life & I have always been the designated family pet sitter. Because of this, I consider a dog an essential and equal part of our family. I recently left my job as an RN, after 10 years of healthcare, to fully pursue my lifelong dream of owning a dog grooming business. I opened in January of 2024! The process has been scary, but I am so excited knowing that I am following my heart by doing something that I love! I am so passionate about pet care and I really want to give my Rover clients the best experience. I pride myself in having great communication skills and I send a ton of photos. My previous clients will tell you that I frequently go above and beyond! I’m experienced in dog care and also have two cats of my own, so I am comfortable with both. 🙂

Everyone should have a Katie to look after their furry friends! I was so nervous to have someone in my home without me there but Katie made me feel so comfortable! My pup just loves having her visit. Your pet’s safety is my #1 priority. I know how difficult it is to find someone you trust. I think of our family dog as one of our kids- so I am always so nervous when we have to leave her! I also have two kitties who I love dearly. Because of this, I treat all my client’s pets as I would my own. I practice leash safety unless your yard is fenced and I will follow all directions given to me with the utmost care and caution.

A typical day
Our favorite places to walk are the Montour Trail and North Strabane Twp Park- we frequent both pretty often since we live so close! We have an abundance of tennis balls for our fetch lovers and we have a huge yard that we frequent every single day!
