Hello there, my name is Kathryn. Thank you for visiting my Rover profile. My first love is my family dog named Kix, an energetic Portuguese Water Dog. I love dogs and miss Kix terribly. That's why I signed up for Rover. I am currently working remotely and can be very flexible around meetings and work hours. I'm happy to take your dog (or pet) for walks, runs, swimming (if they're allowed/willing), cuddles or whatever's needed. I like being athletic and dogs are the best workout buddy. I have reliable transportation and a cell phone, so I'm easy to contact. I'm very personable and have been described as having contagious enthusiasm. Kathryn is a gem! We booked her to watch our 8 yr old dog, Birdie in our home for a week. Communication was smooth and easy from the start, and she was so flexible and understanding when our dates changed due to illness. Birdie was instantly attached to her, and I could see from the updates and photos that Kathryn sent that she was having a great time in her care. The house was in even better shape than we left it as well! It was a relief to enjoy our vacation while knowing Birdie was in such excellent hands. We will definitely look forward to working with Kathryn in the future!
Katherine was excellent with Morgana and Vivienne. She kept everything cleaned. And constantly played with them. I will definitely have her again to baby sit them. Thank you ????
Tay-Goose (our pup!) really enjoys Kathryn...that was the obvious feedback from the photos we got updated with. Kathryn went above and beyond with communication, flexibility, and quality care of our dog.

I’ve helped friends with training their pets and am able to maintain plenty of patience while they are learning. Based on what your pets needs I’m happy to accommodate. I’ve gone on quick 5 minute training walks to hour+ long exhaustion walks.

A typical day
I love taking dogs to the park, to the beach when possible, on hikes and more! I’ve worked on leash training, dog introductions, people introductions, and even crate training. Every home is different and needs different things!
