We are experienced dog owners (and have served as a dog foster family and adoption placement check volunteers). Our beloved dog passed away recently at age 16, and we would love the opportunity to watch YOUR dog and shower him/her with lots of love and attention while you are away. We live in a single family home in an area with lots of great places for walks and hikes. Dogs must be good with children (ages 8 & 11). There are no other dogs or cats in our home at the moment. We typically have one dog at a time, but happily take two dogs who are from the same household. Full disclosure: It is important to know that on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday dogs will typically be alone for a 7-hour stretch in the day. We understand that might not be the right arrangement for everyone. Why I love dog sitting I have always been a dog lover. Growing up our family had a Siberian Husky. As an adult, Lulu, a Shepherd mix, stole my heart. Our sweet girl lived to the ripe old age of 16 and recently passed away. Meet my pets Goldfish tank :-) About my yard We have a good sized backyard. It is not, however, fully fenced in. For exercise, we will walk or hike with your dog or go to nearby parks. My experience administering medication I am comfortable administering pills, drops, ointments, etc. (lots of experience with that!).
