Hello! My name is Karissa and I’ve been a professional in the animal care and training field for over 20 years. The main animals I have cared for are dolphins and sea lions (7 years) and elephants (12years). I do work full time so I may not be the best fit for pets that need frequent potty breaks or someone with them all day long, but I can promise you nights and days off are spent snuggling and caring for your fur baby(ies)…I am passionate, reliable, trustworthy and light hearted. With me, your dog is treated as my own. This means (with your approval, of course) walks, runs, beach trips, park trips, massages, Reiki, love and more! I have the skills and expertise necessary to problem solve and apply positive reinforcement training with your pup (if requested) as well! Your dog will never be bored with me! So go for it, take that trip, go for those happy hour drinks, enjoy life knowing that your dog will be safe and having fun with me!!!

The best decision we made was to select Karissa to watch our sweet lab, Derby. She is super prompt, trustworthy, sent us tons of pics of our sweet boy, was communicative and everything was tidy. This was our first time using Rover and was quite nervous about it but those nerves seemed to subside after we met Karissa to ensure she was a good fit for Derby. I think it's safe to say he loves her! We are headed into holiday and 2024 with other bookings. Strongly recommend 🐾🐾🐾

Karissa is more than amazing! I was nervous to leave our dog after her surgery, but Karissa made all of my worries go away. She easily took over our routine and gave our dog all of the love and attention she needed. She stayed at our home and went above and beyond there too. I can't say enough good things about Karissa. She has a huge heart for animals and people. Your search for a pet/house sitter is over once you find her!
