Along with working in the animal field for over 15 years, I'm also a dog and cat foster for 2 different rescues for 8 years.

We recently had Kari watch our 4 cats for eight days. That many cats can be a little daunting, especially with one that is on diabetes medication. However, Kari was able to handle them all and their unique personalities without any problems whatsoever. We scheduled 3 visits a day and Kari showed up every time and gave them the same care and attention if they were her own pets. We have had our cats for the last 10 years and hands-down Kari is the best sitter we've ever had by far. We won't hesitate to use her again and highly recommend her for your pets as well.
Kari has fostered many cats and kittens for our rescue and takes the best care of them all. She’s very much in tune to their needs and always gets to know them on a deeper, more personal level. She’s conscientious, loving, trustworthy and responsible. Kari is dedicated and doesn’t shy away from the animals who may need extra care or training either - she seems to have endless patience and always adores the animals in her care. I have been fostering dogs for over 8 years. Although we don't have a fence, we have a double gate system at each door to ensure there are no risks of bolting. (Each room with an exit outside is gated by a tall, locking baby gate that is ALWAYS shut behind us when we exit.) As for the clients, home, I am willing to do what the client desires in order for their pet to feel as happy and comfortable as possible while their owner is away. All prices are negotiable.

For myself, I always like to know personality and any issues. As mentioned above, that will tell me what kind of activities I should do or what I should avoid. I'd like to know who they get along with and who they don't get along with. I'd also like to know of any quirks like they dislike vacuums, car rides, or even any allergies they have. For me, the more information the better. The more I know, the more comfortable I can make your dog and the better a time we will all have.
A typical day
I'm a firm believer in 'a tired dog is a happy dog'. One of my most common place to go is a local park with a fenced area in which all of the dogs can run, play, and explore. I usually take walks around my own home. Every dog is different, so it depends on what appeals to the dog is what avenue we will take. If he/she doesn't like people, we will take a more secluded walk. If he/she is frightened of loud noises, then we will take a wooded walk. I have two amazing dogs that work wonders on every single foster that comes into this house and they always love them. Enna is my role model and Auggie is my happy go lucky boy that makes all dogs feel happy.
