Pet care experience
I was raised around dogs ranging from 10lbs to 135lbs and I LOVE THEM ALL! I have previous experience dog-sitting, training, and walking. I know how to give medications by mouth (pill and liquid) and subcutaneously for dogs and cats. I'm familiar with senior dogs who may have sight or hearing issues, and some incontinence issues. I have a flexible schedule for checking on dogs and cats, and am available to stay overnight for short or long-term stays (within 20 miles of Bend). Ideally, I would love to come to your dog and take them to their favorite park, a walk around the block, and give them belly rubs. Pets are part of the family and I will treat yours like I would my own.

Julie did a wonderful job watching our chocolate lab for one day when we had a youth sporting event in town. She listened to our special requests, took him on a long walk, played ball with him, and communicated with us via text, sending lots of pics of a happy, tired pup! We’ll definitely call her when we’re back in town again!

Julie was responsible and responsive, and I felt completely comfortable and confident with her before and after Kona's stay. Julie took great care of our dogs. She responded when I messaged her and she sent me videos of her playing with the dogs which was really great to see since Fry has alot of energy and can be really annoying with his toys. I would have liked a bit more pictures since I requested them but I could tell they were taken good care of and that she made sure they listened to her and behaved

I have a fenced backyard and two older housecats who have lived with dogs. When staying with dogs at their house, I keep all doors and windows closed and a close eye on them when entering or exiting the home.

I need to know if your doggo is friendly with cats (who also live with dogs and don't care), if they are friendly at the dog park, and would be open to a play date with my mom's 20lb spaniel mix.
A typical day
I enjoy taking them to dog parks--if they are familiar with it. I took care of a goldendoodle and took him to a park and he played until his tongue hung out of his mouth. I keep very close track of the dogs and am never more than a few feet from them. I always get it approved with the client beforehand. I like taking them on several shorter walks through the day, and giving lots of ear and belly rubs.
