Pet care experience
Originally from the Midwest ~ barnyard to backyard, I've experienced it all. I worked at the San Diego Zoo until 2020 and boarded and cared for other people's dogs in my time off. By night, I'm a stay at home, read and be surrounded by a little fur. From my previous years hosting with both DogVacay and Rover, I have impeccable references and would love to pet sit for you. I volunteered for a high profile dog trainer for security dogs locally many years and attend continuing pet education seminars. Big, small...I love them all and so does my dog, Cliff! Julie was wonderful! She has a big heart and took great care of our high energy 1 yr old puppy. She has a great house for dogs and gives all the little extra special attention you’d give your own dog. She’s a great communicator and very flexible.

Allergies, favorite toys, commands you use, food/toy dominance. I follow the owner's requests and make sure to send a daily picture so the owner can relax and enjoy their time away. I do not take runners or escape artists.
A typical day
Walk 2 blocks to the park. If the owner has preferred places for me to take their dog, I will. But I've found that many owners just want their babies to have their "creature" comforts in the safety of my home.

Availability
Since moving to Danville and retiring, I go to the park 2 blocks away with Cliff twice a day and enjoy my family and grandsons when they visit.
