PAWsome & Dependable Pet Care
Pet care experience
Hi, my name is Julia and I’m currently a full-time graduate student at Georgetown. Besides having had a dog of my own, I have over 4 years of professional experience working at dog grooming salons which has given me a unique perspective on your pet’s wants and needs. You can count on me to care for your pet while always prioritizing their safety and comfort. I am comfortable with all types of dogs and the versatility of my past experiences grooming, dog walking, and pet sitting have prepared me to offer high quality pet care. I am well-versed in dog safety and am very familiar with which foods are off-limits, body language (when they’re scared, when they’re about to bite, avoiding the “bite zone,” etc.), signs of a possibly serious medical emergency, and even the most complicated harnesses/collars. I absolutely adore dogs and would be so excited to help care for your pet! *Fully vaccinated (includes booster)*
Reviews
Julia was awesome! She jived with my finicky dog and dealt with all of the complexities of getting into my apartment with ease. Will definitely be rebooking!
Julia did a great job taking care of my two cats for a long weekend! She was even kind enough to bring an extra fan to help get them through the heat wave
Julia was awesome, very responsive, and sent great pics! Came home to a very happy cat.
Julia was a great sitter for Harley! She arrived early. Julia walked Harley and attended to all of his needs. Harley usually does not use the restroom with new walkers on the first go but he did with Julia! Julia also was able to help him through his separation anxiety as I left. I will definitely be a repeat client! Thanks Julia!

Safety, trust & environment
Unfortunately, my building does not allow pets but I am available for home visits/house sitting and walks. I strive to create a safe, comfortable, and fun environment for your dog and I absolutely love giving pets! I believe one of the best ways to show love to your pet is by being a responsible and knowledgeable caretaker and expect the same of the people who watch your pet when you’re not home.
Information Julia S. would like to know about your pet
Necessary information: health problems or concerns, general temperament and behavior (especially on walks), i.e. Are they friendly with other dogs? Are they okay with strangers? If they’re a larger dog, are they okay with children?
A typical day
I love going for walks and making sure the dogs that I watch feel engaged and comfortable. I realize and match each pet’s individual “tempo,” from high energy, high-need to more nervous and low energy, I am up for it and can handle it all! pet has their own particular “tempo” and moods andfrom high energy, high-need dogs to more cautious good at matching them all, from high energy, high-exercise need dogs to elderly pets who maybe need a slower, calmer pace, I am excited for it all!
