I WFH so we can have fun all day!
Pet care experience
I have had dogs my entire life and have taken care of/worked with dogs since I was a young teen. My older sister began grooming dogs while she was in high school, and as needed, I would help her with bathing and walking dogs. My family and I would also take care of our family’s, friend’s and neighborhood dogs while I was growing up, which eventually turned into us having a new pup almost every week. I have experience with all sizes, ages and breeds. I have a few rescues in our house - two dogs and two cats. Desi, 5 years old, is a Golden Mountain Doodle - he LOVES other dogs. Annie, 6 years old, is a Bernese Mountain Dog - she is shy, but is loving having puppy friends to hang out with! Both pups are very mellow, will sleep most of the time, but love to play in the yard and meet new pups. Lucille (6) and Tongs (1) are our cats who mostly stay on the second floor and keep to themselves.
Reviews
Julia was just great. My dog loves her . This was the first time I had left my dog with anyone but a family member. Julia handled his nervousness in stride and made sure he felt safe and secure. I highly recommend
Wonderful experience for my American Bulldog, Bella. She got to hang out and play with a new (big dog) friend, Desi. And I was completely comfortable leaving her in Julia's competent and warm care. Thank you Julia, Desi, and Annie!!
Julis is provided great communication and doggie daycare services. Ollie had a wonderful day.
I needed a sitter at the last minute and Julia came to the rescue. She took good care of my Simba.

We have a large yard where the pups can run and play, and I can also take occasional breaks for short walks if needed. For daycare, I’ll block the pups from going upstairs, but will keep that open if boarding. Dogs are allowed on all furniture/beds. I have one large crate and one medium crate if needed, but if you have something specific please feel free to bring your own.

Information Julia P. would like to know about your pet
I'd love to know the following (we can have this conversation after requesting to book!): Is your dog vaccinated? Crate trained (not necessary, but good to know)? Do they need a walk to go to the bathroom? Any food/treat/toy aggressions? Any allergies to food or treats? Are there any 'no pet' areas on their body? How are they with differently sized dogs (we have two large pups)? Have they met any cats, and how are they with them? Do they have any quirks that are important to be aware of?
A typical day
During the week, we'll take multiple breaks outside to run around and play. I'll always be out there with them to supervise. If they are staying overnight, we may go on evening walk. They'll likely get a lot of energy out while playing in the yard all day, but please let me know if walks are necessary! Otherwise, your pup will have plenty of space around our house to either cuddle up on the couch or hang in another room if they need some alone time. My two dogs are very respectful and will get the hint if your pup is not interested. Because I take on more than one pup at a time, there may be another client boarding in the home. If you’re not comfortable with that and would like only your dog boarding with me (along with my own) please let me know - just keep in mind that this may be an additional charge. I also take pups for daycare, so there may be another client here for a few hours during the day.
