Pet care experience
I grew up with dogs and as an adult, have fostered dogs in both San Francisco and Sonoma. Previously a 2 year dog walking & socializing volunteer at SPCA in San Francisco before fostering. Both of these experiences prepared me to deal with all kinds of issues - leash training, crate training, potty training, leash aggression, fear of humans, etc. I'm so lucky to have had such a varied experience with canines! Now I frequently do Rover and have on and off foster dogs in my house - currently without a foster, however. Happy to share more about this experience and learn about your pup.

Julia was very kind to my less than outgoing toy poodle. LC looked very content and happy after her stay. Julia is also very good at communicating and we received many updates and pictures during LC’s three-day stay. Definitely would use Julia again and highly recommend her.
Julia was Awesome with our dog. He truly felt like he hadn’t left home. I feel so comfortable leaving him with her. It has taken all the stress of leaving Barkley so we can go out of town.

I have all the toys and dog beds, plus crates and dog gates. Just tell me what you need! Very flexible based on doggo needs. Also I'm fully vaxxed and boosted for CoVid and only ask that if you're not, that we do the dog exchange outside in the front or backyard. Otherwise, you're welcome to come over and check out my space!

A typical day
I have a 3-bedroom house for dogs to enjoy, including a fenced in backyard. There is nobody else coming and going from my house so they will be very safe. I prefer walks around the neighborhood and longer walks on the bike path in Sonoma. There's a dog park about a 15 minute walk up the street from me that is great for dogs who want to run.

Availability
I’m working remotely from home full time, so have the time to take care of dogs, including frequent walks. Have a fenced in backyard, although it's small so I would be going on walks and if requested, get the energy out at our local dog park. I have a car if transport is needed of any pets. No kids or other pets at home and I live alone.
