Pet care experience
I grew up among a menagerie of pets, and enjoyed learning to care for each and every one of them. I have in-depth experience with dogs, cats, rabbits, chickens, reptiles, amphibians, tropical fish, and small rodents, including hamsters, gerbils, guinea pigs, mice, and rats. I regularly house-sat and walked neighbors' dogs throughout my teenage years, fostered kittens from age 18 - 22, and now love caring for my cat Robin. I'm passionate about animal husbandry and will leap at the chance to meet any new animal friend!

Julia has been an amazing dog walker! I needed someone to come walk my dog in a pinch, and she was extremely responsive and a pleasure to work with. I will absolutely be using her services in the future and recommend you do too! She is a wonderful communicator and my dog had a great time with her.
Julia was awesome with our pup, Oreo. She was very communicative throughout the whole process, gave Oreo lots of exercise and love, and was respectful of our home. Julia requested a meet and great before her stay with Oreo, which we really appreciated. We definitely plan to ask Julia to help with our doggo again. Hire her!!
Needed a late-notice dog walk and Julia was so great! Totally recommend. This was my first time using Rover and I was a little nervous about it but everything was so easy and lovely.
Julia was an absolutely perfect fit for our two dogs, one with special needs, and the other into it’s senior years. The dogs absolutely adored her, and were excited every time she came to stay with them. She had endless amounts of cuddles, pats, and patience for needing to find the toys that had rolled under assorted furniture. We also loved the peace of mind from having someone so kind and caring staying at our house with them while we were out of town. 1000% highly recommend her!

An animal's safety is my first priority. Unfortunately, because my lease forbids overnight visits from animals not registered to the property, I cannot offer boarding services at this time. When sitting for an animal, I learn as much as I can about their daily routine at home so I can provide consistency and comfort while their owner is away.

What is your pet's personality? Are there any behaviors I should know to prevent (ex: bolting, chasing cars, chewing plants/furniture, aggression towards people or animals)? Are there any behaviors I should reward/encourage?
A typical day
Any home visit from me will include feeding, toileting, physical exercise, mentally stimulating play, and as many pets and cuddles as each individual animal will tolerate. I love long walks with dogs, and enjoy fetch, frisbee, tug-of-war, stick discovery, smell discovery, squirrel discovery, and other classics. I love to bring cats a variety of toys and see how they react to different materials - popular items include jingle balls, wand toys, catnip mice, collapsible tunnels, nontoxic bubbles, string, pipe cleaners, and twist ties. Lots of treats for everyone, of course.
