I have had cats all my life, various breeds including Siamese and Persian. I currently have three cats. My 16 year old, Sidney, has kidney failure and I give him vitamins and subcutaneous fluids everyday. I have experience volunteering for and performing Trap Neuter Return (TNR). I have cared for cats with FIP, UTI, crystals in their urine, tumors, ringworm, various eye concerns in kittens, including administering eye drops, eye ointment, or warm compresses. I can work with frightened cats; using techniques including the thunder vest and calming sprays. I currently volunteer at a cat rescue and I foster kittens, attending to their medical needs including giving immunizations and recording their weight and hydration level to monitor their health. I love cats and find working with animals to be very therapeutic. I can fill and clean water bowls, fill and measure food, brush and play with cats, check for illness, clean up hairballs or vomit, clean and fill litter box and any accidents.
