Pet care experience
I have grown up with dogs and have had the privilege of getting my own dog to live a full life to the ripe old age of 17+. I work full time as a guidance counselor and have 2 school-aged kids so being a doggie mom is not possible right now, but with lots of school breaks and summers, I can be the best doggie aunt! Everyone has a fun aunt that takes them hiking, swimming, and snuggles during movies. That’s me.

Nola had a blast with Jodi and her family! It was obvious from the start that Nola would be treated like a family member. She went on hikes and got some good cuddles - I was confident that she was in good hands while I was away. Thanks, Jodi!

Jodi and her family were great! We received photo's and updates which was fantastic. Gus seemed very comfortable and happy with his stay. We've already planned his next visit with Jodi. Highly recommend!
Jodi and her family are the absolute best - our pup has stayed with them many times now during our travels. We think he might like their house better than ours and joke that he is going to sleepover camp! Highly recommend.

Permanent fencing around house with the exception of driveway (no gate) but have a movable gate to Keep pets in. We live near hiking and ponds areas, across the street from a big park and within walking distance to a college with plenty of green space for long walks.

I prefer dogs without special needs, but am open to it if the owner is willing to teach/train me. Housebroken dogs are a must, and no aggressive dogs as I have children.
A typical day
Hiking in Blue Hills, kayaking (if they like boats!), swimming, lots and lots of belly rubs, and for older/less active dogs, lots of love and walks.

Availability
Weekends from September to June, more flexibility in the summer and over school breaks. We are an active family and can take the dog on local adventures, but also can relax at home for older pets.
