Pet care experience
Hello! My name is Jocynia, I am 24 years old and located in the lowell-dracut area. I am currently a training apprentice at a privately owned business, training basic obedience and working with dogs that may have some behavioral issues such a fear reactivity, resource guarding, and aggression. Before getting into the training side of the dog world I was an assistant manager at a local doggy daycare, supervising doggy socialization and maintaining a happy, healthy, and safe environment for all dogs of all personalities. I am able to make a promise to provide the best care possible for your furry little family member and treat them as my own family. I currently offer dog sitting, dog walking, drop in visits. and very basic grooming (such as nails, ears, baths, and blow outs) and have pretty open availability for the remainder of the summer months.

Jocy is so great with my dog. While I was away, she kept me updated and sent pictures. She made my first time leaving my dog a stress-free experience. So lucky to have found her. She has also taken care of my dog while I'm at work. She is always tired and happy when I get home. Jocy has made a new BFF with my Riley.
Jocy has taken care of my two huskies for the past year. She is reliable, attentive to their needs, loves them like they are her own dogs, and is great with communication. I’m forever grateful to have found Jocy and to know our dogs are well taken care of with her. My girls love her and we do too!
Jocy works at the daycare where I bring my little Yorkie Chimmy. From Day 1 she has been caring and attentive with Chimmy. I have felt comfortable leaving Chimmy at the daycare and for overnight stays in large part because I know he is in good hands with Jocy. I highly recommend her!

I own a long portable runner that I carry with me at all times to offer room for exploration but no room to escape. I make sure all dogs are on monthly preventatives for parasites and flea/tick season, while also following up with comb throughs after every walk. All animals in my care will be supervised 100% of the time or crated, unless owner states free roaming is an option.

I would like to know any and all medical history and health issues of your pet so I may provide the best care possible. Food allergies are a must to know about. I would also like to know about your pet’s temperament (what they like/don’t like, are they socialized?, any resource guarding in regards to food, toys, etc.)
A typical day
My favorite thing to start the day is a quick game of catch to get your dog up and ready. I feed dogs around 8:30 in the morning and 7:30 at night (this can obviously be changed to each pets specific preference). I enjoy taking the dogs out on trails around 5:30 when it’s starting to cool down. The trails I use are well known and all in the merrimack/nh area. My favorite activities are working on fun commands like “high five” and “spin” i love rewarding all good behavior with fun and treats. Dogs boarding with me will have the option of being taken out on group walks on local trails. My goal is to make every day of your dogs time with me comfortable and as close to normal as possible.
