Upbeat and loving pet sitter
Pet care experience
- Fear Free Certified - Insured with Pet Sitters Associates - Nearly 10 years of experience Proudly providing a cozy second home for your pet! I started out pet sitting years ago when my cousin’s family needed me to watch their Pomchi while they were on vacations. Said Pomchi now loves me so much that the mere mention of my name sends her into rapturous zoomies! The feeling is very much mutual, of course. I enjoyed it so much that I’ve taken on multiple clients as a dog walker and sitter since then, mostly met spontaneously while out on walks.
Reviews
I hesitate to write this because I'm nervous that Jessica will be booked up next time we go away. On the other hand, we don't go away that often and YOUR DOG WILL BE SO HAPPY WITH JESSICA. I was legit nervous that my dog would be disappointed to be coming home. Jessica is an exceptional communicator, kept me super informed the entire time I was away and sent a bunch of pix and videos of my dog so I could see for myself all the doggy fun he was having. If you can, book Jessica - you won't be sorry.
Jessica did great with our dog, Tiki! Lots of videos and pictures of how tiki was doing is great.
Jessica was awesome. She provided lots of videos and took great care of our little Yorkie who can be very shy around other dogs. Will definitely use her again and would recommend her to my friends.
Jessica was fantastic with my puppy Nutmeg. Tons of care, attention, & playtime + videos to keep me connected & informed.

Safety, trust & environment
Safety is my top priority, but I also strive to provide an enjoyable and stress-free experience for your pet. I love connecting on an emotional level to animals through play, pets, and snuggling, making sure to read their body language closely and always respecting their boundaries. When your pet stays with me, they can expect a quiet, calm, private area with blankets, toys, water, and a crate available to them if they want it. Meals will be served exactly according to your specifications, and in general I will do my best to minimize any changes to your pet's normal routine and environment. They will of course be more than welcome to hang out with me and my dog in the main living room area as well. I'm also experienced in house sitting and have no problem doing tasks such as moving garbage bins, taking in mail and newspapers, and more. I ask that all clients type up a simple cheat sheet listing the pet’s feeding/walk/potty schedule, notes on the pet’s needs and personality, and any notes or requests regarding caring for the home if the job includes house sitting. Finally, please try to ensure your pet is relatively stink-free before dropping them off for boarding or daycare. Many thanks :)

Information Jessica W. would like to know about your pet
Special needs, especially dietary and medical, and any triggers that I need to look out for (eg dog reactivity). It’s also nice to know what foods and treats they like, and how they like to be petted and spoken to.
A typical day
It’s important to me that your pets actively enjoy their time with me. I love playing with toys, trying mind-stimulating games and puzzles, and taking long walks in the Alamo, Danville, and Walnut Creek parks and neighborhoods.

Availability
I work from home and and have a flexible schedule. I'm at home most of the time, working on my laptop. I have a few regular clients I do drop-ins for in the mornings and evenings, and of course I take my dog and whoever is staying with me for at least one walk every day. This is often my main form of daily exercise, so I cherish these walks.
