Pet care experience
Hi there! I am a school counselor working and living in South Philly. My boyfriend and I live in Point Breeze with our super pup, Sacha. We will care for your pet as our own! During the school year, I typically am gone from 7am-3:30pm, but my boyfriend's schedule is flexible. He is home more during the day while I am home more in the evening so your pets will enjoy almost all day with a human who will play, rest, or do whatever the dogs want! Our super smart girl, Sacha, also gets training in during the day so your pup can also learn alongside her and maybe come home with some fun new tricks! Your pet will have free reign over our house unless there is system you use that we can replicate here. We have a patio out back that is nice on warm and crisp mornings. I will honor any rules you have at home (no couch, crate, no bed, etc).

Jessica did a great job with my shy dog, Lola. She helped her warm up and feel comfortable and Lola didn’t want to go home by the end.
Jess was great! She took great care of our cat and gave us daily updates.
So glad I went with Jessica. She set up a pre-meeting to make sure Franklin and the house dog got along, and they ended up being good buddies during the stay. She sent me sweet pictures and updates and was flexible when my flight was delayed. Would definitely rebook!

I do not have any breed preferences. What level of exercise/activity is your pet used to? Do they get along with other dogs? Are there any scenarios that should be avoided? Does your pup know any tricks we can work on? Are there any routines they are used to (meal procedures/times, specific times for walks, etc)? Any sneaky behaviors or things that should be out of reach?
A typical day
Your pets can enjoy long walks with us around South Philly and on adventures (if okayed by you!) We enjoy taking Sacha to Timber Creek Dog Park, West Mill Park, FDR, and Lanier Dog Park. Walks along the SRT are also in the rotation. If you prefer to keep it closer to home to where your dog is more comfortable, I would be happy to do so.

Availability
Your pet will enjoy a walk with Sacha in the morning between 6-7am followed by breakfast and some relaxing. My boyfriend usually takes Sacha out to one of the local parks around lunch time, so your pup can also join as long as you/they are comfortable! I am usually home by 3:30-4pm and will take the dogs out for an early evening jaunt to Wharton Square park or around Point Breeze. Bedtime walks typically happen around 8:30-9pm.
