I have owned dogs/cats my entire life and ever since highschool, have volunteered at shelters. I have worked professionally with larger animals (marine mammals) so I understand the husbandty and training aspects of taking care of animals (although I left that career path due to personal beliefs about captivity being compromised). The basic skills I learned there, however, have definitely helped me with my own pets and other animals. I believe in positive reinforcement only, and honestly, I prefer to be around dogs/cats then people. I really enjoy taking dogs on walks or hikes (especially around the beach)! I am attentive and responsible, wish I could have more animals all the time at my apartment, and will treat your fur babies as if they were my own!
