Pet care experience
I am home and available full time. Cats and dogs have been a part of my life for more than 30 years and I've enjoyed caring for them, playing and cuddling with them, and giving lots of pets and back scratches. I believe that our pets are an important member of the family and deserve to be cared for as such. I'm the current owner of a labrador who is a senior but has the spirit of a pup. I am available to follow your pet's daily exercise and play routine. - I will care for both cats and dogs. - I'm available for daily walks, drop-in visits, and house sitting. - I'm also able to bathe, feed, and administer oral medication. Communication is important to me and will promptly answer all your texts and phone calls. I look forward to meeting with you and getting to know your animal.

Jennifer does a wonderful job
Jennifer does a wonderful job taking care of Max. I really appreciate her care when I am working or out of town.
One of our cats needed meds twice a day. It was wonderful knowing he was taken care of as well as our second cat. She gave us pictures and specifics about each cat after each drop in. It was a great experience working with her and would definitely use her again.

Information Jennifer J. would like to know about your pet
I am happy to accept most breeds and sizes! Some information I would like to know is going to be the daily feeding and exercise schedule you would like me to follow. Additional information would be: - Medical issues, medication or allergies. - Dog aggression, child aggression, or leash reactive.
A typical day
House Sitting: is for overnight and up to 24-hours of care per day. This includes: Meals according to your schedule and fresh water, a minimum of 2 short walks during the day depending on age and ability, supervised potty breaks in the yard as needed. I love to hear about your pets favorite activities so that I may incorporate them into their care during my stay. Daily mail, newspapers, and deliveries will be brought into the house and left on the kitchen counter or dining table. I may need to leave the home to fulfill other dog walking obligations. Additional time and services will be agreed upon prior to the stay. Details about the stay can be discussed at our meet and greet. About Severe Weather: I take all weather advisories seriously! * When the heat index is above 90 degrees, walks will be cut short for your pet's safety and for my own. We will use up the remaining time getting pets and belly rubs or playing in doors. Water will be available for your pet on our walks. * I don't mind walking in the rain but thunder and lightning is where I draw the line. Walks may be early or delayed depending on the forecast. Your flexibility is appreciated. * In winter, if the temperatures dip below 20 degrees we may need to talk about turning our walk in to a drop-in visit. I will always communicate with my dog owners if a change of plan is necessary due to dangerous weather and temperatures.
