Jennifer's enthusiasm for furry animals began at a young age when she shared a "tea and biscuit " party with her first dog (tea for her, dog biscuit for him !) Over the years she has brought patience, kindness, and caring skills in her interactions with pets. Exercise, feedings, brushing, and giving of joint supplements characterize a daily care routine. Special comfort and care was given to her beloved dog during his last days. These experiences have carried over into her shelter work as she walked, played , and sometimes just sat with dogs awaiting adoption. I highly recommend Jennifer to become an extension of the love and care that pet parents have for that special member of their family.

Jennifer has had a deep affection for animals since she was a little girl. As a pet parent to both guinea pigs and dogs, she has gained valuable experience in monitoring and gauging her animals’ needs and taking the time to nurture them through physical affection, words of affirmation, and playtime. Being a pet parent/guardian also requires a great deal of responsibility to ensure the pet is cared for physically and emotionally. Jennifer has taken the time and energy to ensure her pets are cared for through regular veterinary visits, administering medications and supplements, and monitoring treats. She enjoys dog walking, exercising and playtime, whether longer walk/runs with dogs that require extended physical exercise or shorter outings for other dogs. I have seen Jennifer adjust to pet personalities and ages to show the proper attention and care that’s required, including boisterous puppies, quiet and reserved senior dogs, and animated guinea pigs. In one of the most emotionally taxing situations of caring for a sickly dog, she has shown extreme patience and love to the animal to make sure his final days and weeks were as comfortable as possible. I would recommend Jennifer as a pet sitter and dog walker without hesitation. She is kind and dependable, and has a genuine affection for our furry friends!
