I've had my lab mix Buster for 9 years, he's my best buddy. I got him from a lab rescue when he was 5 months old. He was part of a litter of puppies up on Petfinder. A friend and I saw him on there once, and then some months later I came across him on there still! He and another sibling were the only ones still left to be adopted of the litter. I knew I just had to adopt him and it was the best decision ever. I grew up with a dog and cats, had a pet rat many years ago, and I've helped roommates with their dogs and rabbits. I feel strongly about a dog getting its needs met and feeling secure and comforted even when their family is away. Whenever I'm away from Buster I think about him the whole time and worry about him.
