Pet care experience
This past year, I had to say goodbye to my 18 year old Yorkie/Maltese. While I’m not ready to have a new dog yet, I miss having one! My friends recently needed a dog sitter and thought of me for this reason. I loved spending time with and taking care of their dog so much, they actually recommended that I sign up for rover. I’ve also dog sat for my sister that lives in Florida. She had to travel for a funeral recently and flew me in to dog sit for her.

Leaving your pets can be the hardest part about traveling. Hopefully I can make it a little bit easier for owners and their beloved companions! Separation anxiety is tough but I try to combat it with walks and playing. I think that it helps to get dogs to eat their food more and rest. I love to update owners with frequent pics of their adorable dogs!

While I owned a senior dog for several years, I may not be familiar with your dogs special needs. Open communication is very important and I will have a conversation with owners if I feel like their dog needs more intensive care than I can provide.
A typical day
It’s always fun getting to know a dog’s personality and figuring out what they do or don’t like. Whether it is playing extra with their favorite toy or taking them to their favorite park, your dog will be in good hands.
