Dog's Best Friend: Home full-time
Pet care experience
In between acting gigs I Have opened my home to taking care of other dogs. In 2004 my husband and I adopted 2 rescue dogs. We lost one (our sweet girl Marcy) to Cancer in March 2019 so we opened up our home to lovable dogs to help fill the hole she left in our hearts. As of March 1, 2020 we unfortunately, sadly said goodbye to our second dog, Ted, a 16-year-old diabetic terrier (also to cancer). Very familiar with administering medication including insulin injections. I love to play with dogs, take them for walks/hikes and I always accept their kisses. I have a great fenced-in yard for them to play in. All I ask is your dog have all it’s necessary shots, be housebroken, and get along with other dogs. When I’m not doing acting gigs I’m home to give full attention to your dog. I do walk a dog Monday thru Friday from 12:55-1:35. Fenced-in yard. Plenty of play time. Fetch, if that’s their thing. Walks around the neighborhood. Lots of petting to make them comfortable. I also can back off if that’s not their thing.
Reviews
Jeff was great! He sent nice updates with pictures. I picked up a well exercised and happy dog!
Jeff has been taking of my dog since Zen was pretty much a puppy. I always have a peace of mind when I leave Zen because I know he’s well taken care of and not too mention, I think he likes visiting Jeff more than being at home. I travel often and traveling can be unpredictable and Jeff has always been accommodating.
As always, Jeff goes above and beyond for our pup! We fully trust Jeff to care for our dog (who is older and needs meds) and be a trusted caretaker under any circumstance.
We are always so reassured that Archer is having a good stay with Jeff when we're away! Appreciate the updates and the Good humor about our pet's quirks. Thanks again!

Fenced-in yard. They sleep with me in the guest room. I give them a lot of attention. Unless they need me to back off. :)

Besides being housebroken, I prefer dogs who don’t mark in the house. I’ve had a few do this even after many walks or trips to the backyard. They HAVE to get along with other dogs. I tend to watch 2-3 at a time. Small to medium dogs (30 lbs. OR LESS IS MY PREFERENCE). This pandemic has messed up lots of dogs and my clients have been very pleased that I can get dogs to interact with each other in a controlled environment.
A typical day
Do a lot of hiking in Greenbelt, Lake Artemesia, Great Falls, and other nearby hiking trails. Love throwing a ball around the yard, even if they don’t fetch :)

Unless I’m cast in something, I’m home pretty much. I do walk a dog Monday-Fridays from about 12:55-1:35pm, though. In the past I’ve let clients know if I have a function/prior engagement to go to. Then, unless you bring a cage, I’ll keep them contained to one room. With water, toys, and classical music playing.
