I'm 42 and have had dogs my whole life. It started with a cockapoo named Brandy who lived to be 17. Now the wife and I have two mutts named Shasta and Kona, I love them more than anything in the world. Shasta is 13 and has cancer. We are trying to make the most of the time we have left with her.
