I have had animals all my life starting at a young age with sneaking home hamsters and mice we weren't suppose to have -- hiding them in my dresser drawers! I think the smell of cedar bedding gave me away. I had hamsters and mice and guinea pigs growing up. While in grade school I cared for our neighbor's rabbits when they went on vacation. I also started taking horseback riding lessons while in grade school. While raising my family we enjoyed the company of many cats and dogs. After my children moved away, I moved to an 80-acre farm where I was able to acquire my own horse and chickens. I love surrounding myself with animals of all kinds. Presently, I work part time for approx. 5 hours a day. I am home in the afternoons and am willing to help you with caring for your fur (or feather!) babies.
