The one who will love your pup most

Pet care experience

I’m an energetic, playful and friendly sitter with an experienced background in dog care. I’m dedicated to providing top-notch love and care to your pup while you are away! I love that when I walk into a dog's home I'm greeted with such enthusiasm and love. A dog is a constant companion who’s always there for a belly scratch, cuddle time, or an adventure! My professional dog care experience includes work with a dog walking company called Wag, walking dogs while owners were away. And for several years now I’ve taken care of a pup named Harvey whenever his owners went out of town. I’ve also volunteered at animal shelters and adoption events for pups, working with a wide range of dog breeds, sizes and needs. In addition to my experience with dogs, I grew up living in a house with three cats, and I’ve volunteered at animal shelters caring for cats as well. I love getting to know cats’ personalities and earning their affection. Some cats can be cautious of strangers at first, so it’s a good feeling when you win them over. I’d love to help care for all kinds of animals through Rover. I’m an all around animal lover. I'm not able to have a pup of my own right now, so I love getting to meet and play with all the pups I meet on Rover! I give them so much attention, love, and play time. I just love hanging out with dogs. They make hikes and adventures so much more exciting. In my spare time I like to go to Planet Granite for yoga and climbing. There's a doggy bowl outside that's always filled with water, but I'd have to chain the pup up while I'm inside. One of my favorite things to do is hiking, and most pups feel the same!

Jacqui was great! She was super flexible and Harlow loved her. We felt very comfortable that Harlow and our home were in good hands while we were away for a couple days. We appreciated the updates and photos! Will definitely keep Jacqui in mind for the next time we need a sitter.

Jacqui was fantastic! She did a great job taking care of our boxer, Jordan; and I felt very comfortable leaving our house and pup with her. She checked in with a few pictures and questions, so I was comfortable she was very attentive. We will definitely be rebooking with her in the future!

Jacqui is amazing! I'm a very nervous dog parent, and my pup doesn't warm up to just anybody. While I was traveling internationally for a week, Jacqui took perfect care of my dog. I received pictures of their adventures every day, and was very impressed with how many awesome things they got to do. While watching my house, Jacqui also helped to handle a bizarre power outage issue and took care of everything like a champ. I couldn't recommend her more!

Jacqui was great with my little guys. I will use her whenever I am traveling. She is enthusiastic, takes them for long walks and the dogs adore her.

I make sure to ask the owner the following questions during our meet and greet so that I can do my absolute best to keep all my pups as safe and happy as possible. What should I do before leaving the pup home alone? Is there anything the pup can’t eat? Does the pup need treats during walk to keep on the path? How long should walks be? Where are some nearby parks? Is your pup okay with other dogs? Of course, I’ll also fill out a report card for each walk and send pictures/videos to the owner every day.

A typical day

My favorite spot to take pups is Fort Funston, but I also really love Lands End and all the beachside hikes in Pacifica. I have so many great spots to take pups if they do well on hikes! I also love Bernal Heights Hill, where you can see the entire city of San Francisco! My schedule allows me to visit a pup for a walk up to three times a day if needed. Monday and Wednesday, I nanny a four year old from 12:30 to 6:00. Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday I nanny another child, six years old, from 1:30 to 6:00. This family is dog friendly, so I am available for dog walking during these hours. I always check with the dog owners first, of course! A pup and a 6 year old is just a perfect match. Lev loves all dogs and is so excited to meet and play with each one! I also work in a preschool Thursday and Friday mornings 10:00 to 12:00.
