Pet care experience
My boyfriend and I have never met a dog we didn't adore! As long time dog owners, both large (Samoan, German Shepherds, and Malamutes) and small (Westies, bichon, and basset hounds.) We understand the type of care that goes into each breed. Matt and I are very active and both love being outside which means your loved one will get plenty of exercise as well. The dog park next to our building provides easy access to the physical stimulation needed for the dogs to go out and get some fresh air. A huge plus is the park has 2 large enclosed area's so the dogs can run around and play. Matt loves taking them in the afternoon and throwing a ball around. We like making sure your dog is well taken care of and will not be left alone for extended periods of time. Another added bonus we will take pictures and videos as much as you like and feel free to call or text anytime. Leaving your loved one with a stranger is not easy and Matt and I want you to feel comfortable and at ease in doing so with us.
Reviews
Jaclyn is a bright responsible woman with an incredible work ethic. She is extremely organized. Her chosen vocation as a teacher is enhanced by her desire to help young children reach their limits. Because of the aforementioned qualities, I would recommend Jaclyn for any task placed before her.
About Jaclyn B.
Safety, trust & environment
Why I love dog sitting My parents bought their first dog before having kids, therefore, I grew up with an Alaskan Malamute and then a German Shepherd. I have cared for my aunt's Shih Tzu's and frequently watched a Yorkie when their family went on vacation. As a full time job, I work as a special education teacher. I have had dogs in my classroom to help my students and love every moment I get to spend with them.

Information Jaclyn B. would like to know about your pet
I would like to know how active the dog typically is and what the owner does to make him/her most comfortable. I know that coming into someone else's environment can be difficult, so I try to keep as much of a normal routine for the dog as possible. I grew up with large dogs, but enjoy smaller dogs, too.
A typical day
Here's where we'll take our walks I do enjoy going on walks. I live in an area of the city with many sidewalks and neighborhoods that are not always crowded by people. Additionally, my boyfriend and I spend each Sunday in Lincoln Park at his softball games. This has given me the opportunity to walk dogs near the beach or in the park. Your dog's sleeping arrangement I would leave that up to the owner. In my past, my dogs had slept in the bedroom or bed. However, if that is not a common practice for that dog, I wouldn't want to train them to do something that is not allowed in their normal environment. I would ask that the owner lets me know what is best for their dog. Time I'll spend with your dog Although I work throughout the day, my boyfriend is in real estate, which leaves a lot of flexibility to spend time with pets.Between my boyfriend and I we will take the dogs out minimum 4 times and make sure 1-2 of those they will get sufficient time in the dog park. Our walks usually are 2-4 blocks at a time to make sure they stretch their legs and get some exercise.
