Pet care experience
Hi everyone! My name is Indiana Dunn and I'm an senior in Animal Science at NC State and a vet assistant in the Raleigh area. I've pet sat independently for 4 years now with domestic and exotic animals as well as my experience at work for the last 6 months. So, basically, I can fulfill all of your pets possible needs, from walking and play time, and snuggles to feedings, meds, and first aid! I don't discriminate against any breeds or households, so there's no need to worry about judgement, I love all babies the same!
Reviews
Indiana was wonderful! My dog warmed up to her immediately and I felt very comfortable leaving him with her for the week, especially knowing her training! She texted me updates/pictures throughout as well which left me with peace of mind. I came home to a happy pup and the house exactly as I left it :) I would absolutely recommend her and won’t hesitate to use her again whenever needed! Thanks so much!!
Indiana took care of our small mixed breed, Bibi, for two weeks. She did a fantastic job; Bibi was healthy and in good spirits for our return and the house looked exactly as we left it! Will definitely invite her back for any future long haul trips.
Indiana was great and agreed to stay late when my flight was delayed.
Indiana stayed at our home with our five cats and did an amazing job! Two of them require daily medications, and she was able to administer them. That is no easy task with cats! She sent me photos of everyone to assure me they were doing well. Our home was just as we left it, and our cats seemed very content. We are looking forward to having Indiana care for our crew again!

I like to get detailed instructions from all my clients so I can make sure your pets are as comfortable and secure as they can be! Parents being gone can be scary, so keeping to a normal routine is an essential part of my care.
Information Indiana D. would like to know about your pet
I have no preferences for breed but I do like to know in advance because all dogs behave differently. I would prepare differently for a smaller anxious breed than a large and active one! Medication and any complex care instructions for medical conditions are good to know as well!
A typical day
Throwing frisbees and balls when the weather is nice! Playing tug on a rainy day is nice as well. For the less active fur babies, relaxing on the couch with some TV is always a good time!

I'm a part time student and only have a few short classes a week, so I am very flexible. After I graduate in May, I will be even more flexible! I'm used to pet care as part of my daily routine since I was a kid, so I'm not concerned about staying on top of things.
