Both my husband and I grew up taking care of dogs. We now have 2 puppies, one 4 month old German Shepherd and one 8 month old Australian Shepherd mix. They are both very friendly dogs who love to meet new friends to play with. We are happy to welcome young and adult dogs to match our puppies energy, but we can also provide a safe space for some down-time, if needed. We are both home during the weekend, so we can watch the dogs 24/2. We will make sure that at least one of us is home at all times. We have a large fenced in yard, but we also like to go on walks with our visitors, if they prefer lots of fun an exercise on top of yard-time. Our house is hardwood floors only, so we can easily work on potty-training as well as crate training, if needed. We do have a large kennel, however, only one of our dogs is crated at night (for potty-training purposes) and we are perfectly fine with our visitor either in a kennel or roaming at night.
