Pet care experience
I’ve been a dog mom most of my life, but we recently lost our 9year old Dalmatian mix, Cooper. I love being able to socialize and get outdoors with all dogs, but it means so much more now that we don’t have a constant companion. I have experience with hyper puppies and calm cuddlers alike, and will treat your furry friends as if they were a part of my own family. I tend to be home weekdays with a large fenced back yard for play, enjoy taking long walks while exploring the neighborhood and have a dog park nearby. I would love to take advantage of the nice weather while providing a service to other dogs in need of some outdoor time. We also do have a cat and 3 small children, who have had a lot of experience with animals :)

Wonderful sitter. Heather took Sadie on short notice (much appreciated). Sadie had a great time playing with the family. Convenient location with large, fenced yard close to Hwy 100 and Minnetonka Blvd. We will definitely use Heather again.
Heather was so great with Ripley and was able to accommodate us last minute. I loved that she sent us pictures to update us throughout the day, too.
You are getting the best when you have Heather care for and walk your dog. Our dog is ecstatically happy in her company. We are so lucky to have her!

When I’m in a clients home, I am respectful of belongings and only go into rooms necessary to keep care of your fur baby. I usually check water and give treats after each walk, and replace leashes/bags.

Our house is big enough that I can separate dogs if needed, but would like to know if your dog has a history of being frightened or aggressive with other animals so we can prepare in advance of a stay. I’m comfortable kenneling and reinforcing the commands you already have set in place.
A typical day
On nice days I like to take at least one long walk and explore different parts of the neighborhood or visit dog parks nearby for socialization.

I work from home during the week and photograph weddings on weekends, so I can give pups the most attention weekdays. I like making time and taking breaks to play.
