Pet care experience
I've hads dogs since I was 7 years old - big and small! My two dogs, Lockie and Rodin aka the sausage and the floof, are our whole world and I regularly take the neighbours' pets for play days and sleepovers.
Reviews
Heather was a very kind and attentive carer to Pearl who enjoyed her stay with Heather’s own dogs. She also enjoyed the large garden Heather has and seemed to love running about in it. Thanks Heather for your care for Pearl.
Heather and Chris looked after our dog Nara for 16 nights and we couldn't have hoped for a better couple to leave Nara with while we were away. Their dogs Lockie and Rodin were great play mates for Nara and welcomed her to the pack. They took her on a variety of walks to keep her stimulated and they have a lovely spacious home for the dogs to play. While away we recieved videos / pictures regularly which put our minds at ease. We would definitely ask Heather and Chris to look after Nara again in the future.
Heather took excellent care of my greyhound. Honda absolutely loved her. This is the first time I got him back from someone else and he wasn’t really p***ed off at me for leaving him! I now feel like I have the freedom to go on holiday, knowing that my hondog is safe and happy. Thank you Heather and Chris! He had an amazing time! I loved the photos you sent me he looked so happy with his sausage and fluffy pals! Will definitely be using you again!
My dogs (Eevee and Nicky) love Heather! I would happily welcome Heather into my home again to care for them. Felt very comfortable with her.

We have a large, fully fenced garden (with the vegetable and chickens fenced off for pup, chicken and vegetable saftey.) Our two dogs are fully crate trained and love to play with similar sized dogs. The dogs have full reign of the downstairs and many, many toys and dog beds, they're happy to share.

Information Heather F. would like to know about your pet
I regret that we cannot accommodate unneutered male dogs. I would want to know about their schedule, their bladder size, what and when they eat, treats and toys they like, whether they are crate trained, if they have any specific trained words/actions and any destructive behaviours or quirks.
A typical day
Everyday starts with a 'morning report' where the dogs and I explore the garden looking for "monsters" (slugs) and treats (balls and berries) then letting the chickens into their run, while I have a morning coffee. Then typically the dogs get a puzzle toy while I start work. Throughout the day they are asked to locate things; from my husband to a plushie. At lunch we usually play with a tennnis ball and run about the garden. An evening walk or more heated romp about the garden takes place later. On weekends or days off, we usually take a 2-3 hour long walk in the morning. Typically they are allowed free play in the living room during the afternoon - my dogs usually empty their toy basket and select what they want to play with during their afternoon.

Availability
I work from home 99% of the time so I'm always on hand for snacks, wee cuddles and potty breaks. My husband is only in the office 3 days a week so there's nearly always someone home.
