Hello my names Haviva, im 27, I currently run a pet business from my family’s house in Lexington MA. I have a lot of experience in dealing with animals of all sizes! I have owned many different breeds of dogs, plus other pets of many different sizes. From Great Danes to Hamsters I love all animals and treat them equally with respect. I have one dog of my own who is a VERY friendly 15lb chihuahua mix. He gets along with everyone and everything but can be lazy at times. My parents have a pitbull mix who was rescued and lives upstairs with them. He wasn’t treated the best in the past so he does not get along with new people or dogs. He stays upstairs with my parents and does not interact with the pets i watch downstairs. We have two doors and a baby gate separating our floors so rest assured that your pet will be 100% safe, just like my chihuahua is ! I take my business very seriously and provide only the best services for you and your pet family member. My yard is decently sized and fenced in but we need to fix some areas. Sadly a lot of the grass is now gone from all the dogs running around or playing so I am looking into mulch or turf as an alternative. I always put the dogs on a run or leash regardless of where we are. So your furry friend will never be left alone or unsupervised when outside. At bedtime each pet sleeps in a separate crate so they can stay safe until morning. I take the dogs on at least 2 walks a day, and I have many toys here plus treats of all kinds to keep your pup occupied and happy! I keep meal times consistent and try to keep a similar schedule the dogs are used to at home! I am available all 7 days a week and home full time, besides running quick errands as this business is my passion. When your pet is under my supervision they will be well taken care of, and treated with compassion. I ask that some pet owners bring a crate for their dog or a bed for them to sleep on. Unless I have some available I do own a few in different sizes. If your dog is under 30lbs I 100% have crates and beds that will fit them with plenty of space! Your pet will need there own food, medication they take, a bed if you want and leashes. Everything else I have tons of so please do not overpack. I ask every owner if their pet is friendly with other dogs and up to date on shots before a booking is made! I also ask if they’re crate trained or comfortable being in a crate over night. If your dog hasn’t been boarded/socialized in a while or it’s their first time please book a day in advance as a “trial run” to see how they do before you leave and are unavailable to pick them up ( I have only had one dog so far who did not work out after a trial night because i do my best and try to adapt in every situation) if you know your dog is crate trained and 100% friendly (goes to daycare, dog parks or anywhere to socialize often) You will not need a trial night. I do not require any trial nights for dogs who have been here before! If your pet is not friendly or up-to-date on all shots, I will not be able to watch them. If any other pet or person gets injured due to your pet not being friendly, you’ll be held responsible for any bills regarding the situation, and asked to pick up your pet. I will not watch the pet again in the future keeping all pets safe is something I take very seriously! I love dogs just as much as my family does, in the past owners have lied about their pet being house trained because they were desperate for a sitter. I have had over $4000 worth of damage put on our house that I will have to pay for myself. If your pet has separation anxiety or destroys any property during their stay, you’ll be 100% responsible for replacing it. Of course this does not include toys or digging holes in the yard. If they chew any wood, doorframes, flooring, scratch the doors significantly or destroy something to the point where it needs to be replaced you will be responsible for the full cost of replacing it. If your pet is not house trained for using the bathroom outside (aside from puppies) a $50 cleanup fee will be added to the booking price. Of course accidents happen and I’m sure they will already be anxious in a new place. I do not charge this fee if they are sick or it only happens once or twice. This fee is only added if it happens multiple times, and it is clear that the dog was not housetrained. I know you’re booking with me to relax, but I also need to be fair with myself. If I am told one thing, then see the complete opposite I do not think thats fair. I watch multiple dogs at the same time, so I need to be told the truth when you book with me. That way I know what to expect. If you are not truthful answering any questions I asked or give me false information about your pet I may end the booking early. All depending on how big of an issue it is. Please remember it is my job to keep all of the animals I host safe. I hold myself to a high standard and try to give each pet an equal amount of attention. I treat your pet the way I would want my pet to be treated. Please be honest with me so I know what to expect and no surprises come up during their stay! If you book with me you are agreeing to all these terms. I hope to meet and see you soon!
