Pet care experience
I have had much experience with dogs in the past. I worked for over a year at a veterinary kennel walking, feeding, bathing, medicating, and playing with dogs 6 days a week. I never had any trouble with dogs and am not scared of anything. I love all dogs and love dog sitting. I have dog sat for many clients before and feel very comfortable in client's homes and with their dogs. I am obtaining my Masters at VCU and have very reliable transportation and know this city well. I would love to take your dog to the park or the river to get some play time in or if your dog is more relaxed, I would go for a leisurely walk around the yard. I grew up with dogs but do not currently have one of my own so dog-sitting is the perfect way to get some puppy play time in my life.

Hannah was great! My pup can be a bit difficult at times, so I was nervous about leaving her with someone. Also, I had never left her with anyone ever, so I was extra nervous. But Hannah dealt with Belle's suspiciousness of strangers really well. You can tell that she has worked around dogs a lot. By the end of the weekend they were buddies. I wouldn't hesitate to have Hannah take care of Belle again.
I travel a fair amount for work and Hannah has recently started watching Mickey while I'm gone.

A typical day
I am flexible and able to do anything the dog needs. If the dog is high energy I would love taking them for a run or a long walk or to the park to play. If the dog is older or more calm I would be totally content just being present with them and giving lots of belly rubs. I have friends and family in Richmond with dogs so if your dog was social and able to be around other dogs I may take your dog for a little play date with other dogs I know are social and able to interact kindly with other dogs. I would never put your dog in dangerous situations. I have had many years of experience doing this and feel confident and capable of providing excellent dog sitting services to you and your pet!
