Brad grew up with cats and dogs and is experienced in puppy training. He is an animal whisperer! Even the most anxious or timid dogs seem to vibe with him. Hanna's family has had cats and dogs and she has extensive experience caring for snakes. We've housesat for friends, family, and coworkers on various occasions because of our background in pet care, plant care, and respectful care of others' belongings. If you trust us with your home and your loved ones we'll treat them like our own. Together, we had a dog (Roxy) and a cat (Luther). We are experienced caring for senior pets and administering medications. Roxy our Australian shepherd had regular seizures but was an energetic, protective, and anxious dog we loved dearly! She passed away in 2021 at the age of 14. Luther, our cuddly and trusting kitty passed away in 2017 at the age of 17. By that time, he was deaf & blind, and needed extra help at meal times. We have experience diapering both animals. We're not ready to be a pet parent again, but love to pet sit and get our dog/cat fixes where we can. We're not new to petsitting, but are new to Rover (current prices are reflective of this) and are excited to expand our petsitting community. We would especially love to develop relationships with pets and their families and become repeat sitters. We have cared for our family's 10 pound dog all the way up to 150 pound Great Dane/mastiff mix. Young or old, big or small - we got you! We are both very active and love walks. Your dogs will get plenty of exercise if that's what you desire. We are also plant lovers and have experience farming/gardening if your potted pets need any TLC while you're away! Brad works in habitat restoration/maintenance and works as a bicycle mechanic part-time. He also formerly worked in construction. In our family he's the handyman - your house is safe with him!
