Pet care experience
I am the youngest child of seven from a rural town in Indiana. Since my recollection, we have always owned at least one dog. I hope to one day have a fenced in yard so that I can own a larger dog like we had growing up. Along with dogs and pups, I also love cats! Both are welcome in my home at all times. :) I recently adopted my cat Oatmeal from the Hamilton County Humane Society. I am purely smitten with him!

Halcyon comes from a long line of animal lovers and has always had a furry friend by her side! She currently owns two cats and frequently dog sits for our family members. Her love for animals and her experience in caring for animals makes her a terrific pet sitter/walker. Understanding what an animal wants and needs is key to be a good sitter/walker. She is closely in tune with the pets behavior. She will care for your animal as her own, offering a loving, safe environment for your pet. In addition to her time as a part-time sitter/walker with Rover, Halcyon works in software sales. She loves the flexibility of Rover and the opportunity to care for animals in the Milwaukee area. Your furry friend will be in good hands with Halcyon!
Halcyon quite simply loves dogs. She loves animals in general. I never grew up around dogs, but Halcyon has her entire life and she just speaks their language. I knew she had a special bond with animals, when her housemate’s cat bonded to her like a little chick. I’ve never seen an animal have such an affinity and imprintment to a human. She is the same way with dogs. Hal is one of my favorite humans and I know she’ll be one of you and your dog’s as well.

If the dog has any specific needs that require special attention, please let me know and I will alter my plan and living environment accordingly. Please let me know if there will be an issue with the dog interacting with cats, We have two.
A typical day
Activities: walks, toys and playing, hiking, trails. I would like to be outside as much as possible. If the dog sitting will be during the week, I will be working therefore the play time might be a bit less than weekends. Otherwise, My house is 3 bedrooms and spacious, therefore, each animal will have room to wander and relax.

Availability
I am currently a clothing stylist and my hours are flexible. Most times I am not gone for a full 8 hours, therefore, I am able to check on with animals and give walks throughout the day. Same day requests aren’t ideal, but I will do my best to be available.
