Gwen was an absolutely perfect fit for our small farm when we went away over Christmas in 2017. We have horses and an assortment of poultry as well as the usual contingent of dogs and cats. Gwen was able to manage all of them and used her experience and good judgment to make the calls I would have made, had I been here. Aside from exercising and feeding the house animals, she also managed a chicken that had special medication needs, a duck that got herself frozen to her bucket and a very senior horse with special feed and blanketing needs and she did all this in temps that would have brought a year to a glass eye. It was COLD. Overnight temps were below -30°C and daytime was barely better. I couldn't have been more pleased. . . It was a heckuva first experience with us but she did it all with skill, grace and real care. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Gwendolyn.

Gwendolyn is one of only two people I have ever let take care of my four legged children. She is responsible, experienced and genuinely cares about my boys (George and Ed). Due to their size (Great Dane and Irish Wolfhound), they can be a handful, but Gwendolyn knows how to use firm, positive motivation to get them to happily do what she wants. When I have left them in a kennel before they would come home wound-up, stressed and thinner. When Gwendolyn takes care of them at home they are healthy, relaxed and happy. I know I never have to worry. She is my go to whenever I'm away from home. My boys are lucky to have her as their caretaker.
