I love all pets, especially dogs and cats. I am currently in graduate school pursuing my Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology. I own a lively Newfoundland dog, precious Pitbull puppy, a grumpy-old-man Terrior, and two cuddly cats. In the past, I have also owned an English Mastiff and a French Mastiff. Although I am used to having large dogs as pets, I have cared for a number of smaller dogs through a humane shelter in Greenville, South Carolina. As a volunteer for the shelter, I have taken many ages and types of both healthy and sick dogs into my home, for at least two weeks at a time. I have played with them, fed them, cleaned up after them, and gave them their medications on time.
