My husband and I love dogs. I'm a psychologist and my husband is a CPR/AED/CPI trainer for his company. I've completed obedience training with Sassy and continued to train her and the others at home. Although she isn't a "certified" therapy dog, she does provide support for others who are under my therapeutic care. My dog Hanna was raised as a search and rescue dog by my stepmother, but "failed" to bark when she got a find. However her failure has been a great addition to the family! I've learned quite a few things from my stepmother about how to manage dogs in and out of the house. I've helped her take care of her dogs in training and learned how to implement behavioral training in my dogs. So... If your pup learns a new trick while you're gone...
