Always a vacancy in our two story Chicago home for dog guests. Lots of room to wander and play, a front and back yard to romp and explore, a big comfy bed to snuggle up in. Our Jack Russell, Stranger loves company. I work from home, so there is guaranteed attention-a-plenty. Of course guests can bring their own crate/bed if they choose. We live in a great neighborhood for long walks on quiet side streets, too! About this sitter: I am a native Chicagoan and dog lover, having grown up with terriers. I work from home in a creative field, which affords me the luxury to pursue my hobbies: dogs, gardening, and cooking. My partner is a chef, as well as a super dog lover. Why I love dog sitting We've grown up with dogs....love them all! Our pets have included a wire haired Fox Terrier, a Jack Russell Terrier, a Dachsund, and our current companions, another Jack Russell Terrier and Dachsund pair. Personality goes a long way with us, which is why we tend toward small, fiesty breeds. Meet my pets Our Jack Russell Terrier, Stranger, loves company and having friends over to play and to snuggle - he's a lover and gets along with every one. About my yard We have both a back and front yard, both securely enclosed, with privacy fence in back, and chain link in front. In good weather, we leave the doggie door open to the back yard so the dogs can lounge in the sun, or chase the squirrels and birds off the trees. The front yard is grass, with a nice porch for sitting and watching the passers by. My experience administering medication We have enjoyed the company of my dogs into their old age, and we know that means some extra care and attention, even medication. We have no problem administering and giving extra care when needed.
